Expertise

Where Covote can help

Some challenges do not fit neatly into one department. Covote works across technical, organizational, and commercial boundaries to understand the real problem and develop a practical way forward.

01

Consulting

Strategic and technical support for companies facing complex decisions, changing requirements, or difficult projects.

02

Designing and improving processes that are clear, efficient, measurable, and suited to the way people actually work.

03

Quality Assurance

Building quality into products and projects through structured analysis, testing, traceability, risk management, and continuous improvement.

04

Research and Development

Turning ideas and technical possibilities into feasible concepts, prototypes, products, and implementation plans.

05

Software Development

Architecture, development, technical analysis, requirements engineering, troubleshooting, and support for complex software systems.

06

Project Triage and Recovery

Rapidly assessing troubled projects, identifying the real causes of problems, prioritizing the most important actions, and creating a realistic recovery plan.

Signature focus
07

AI and Automation

Applying AI and automation to reduce repetitive work, improve decision-making, organize information, and create scalable business processes.

08

Requirements Engineering

Eliciting, structuring, and validating what a system actually needs to do — turning vague or conflicting expectations into clear, testable requirements. Delivered directly or together with specialist partners.

Hard problems

Interested in the problems others avoid

Covote is particularly valuable when the situation is complex, the available information is incomplete, or several disciplines need to be brought together.

  • 01A software project is technically progressing but commercially failing.
  • 02Quality problems appear repeatedly, but nobody can identify the underlying cause.
  • 03Teams, tools, and processes have grown without a coherent structure.
  • 04A project needs an independent technical and organizational assessment.
  • 05AI could improve the business, but the practical starting point is unclear.
  • 06An initiative has stalled and needs renewed direction and momentum.

The first task is often not to implement a solution. It is to understand the real problem.

Approach

A practical way of working

The goal is not to create unnecessary consulting dependency. The goal is to solve the problem, strengthen the organization, and leave behind something that works.

1

Understand

Clarify the objective, constraints, stakeholders, existing systems, and underlying causes.

2

Structure

Turn complexity into priorities, decisions, responsibilities, and an actionable plan.

3

Solve

Develop or implement the technical, organizational, or automated solution.

4

Transfer

Document the result, support the people involved, and ensure the solution can continue without permanent dependency on Covote.

Engagement

Selected projects and partnerships

Covote is open to carefully selected consulting assignments, technical reviews, project recovery work, product development, AI automation initiatives, and entrepreneurial partnerships.

01

Initial assessment or sparring session

02

Short diagnostic or project triage

03

Defined consulting or implementation project

04

Longer-term entrepreneurial or product partnership

The right structure depends on the problem. A first conversation is usually the best place to begin.

Beyond consulting

Ventures and explorations

Alongside client work, Covote explores and builds ventures of its own. These are current areas of active interest — early, deliberate, and open to the right partners.

Covote does not deliver everything itself. Behind these ventures stands a broad network of specialists built over many years. Nicolas's role is the one he knows best: understand the situation, structure the problem, and bring in the right people for the job.

01

Shadow operator for creators

Working behind the scenes as an operating partner — a “shadow operator” — for content creators: building the offers, systems, and processes that turn an engaged audience into a sustainable business.

02

Test-based health optimization

Together with a team of health experts: diagnostics-driven, test-based nutritional supplementation — measure first, then optimize health and longevity on evidence rather than trends.

03

Workforce health and productivity

With the same expert network, applied to companies: supporting the health, focus, and sustained productivity of their teams.

Working in one of these areas? A conversation is welcome.
